Help me with this layout!

I am working on layouts for a design team casting. I would love to be on a design team. I have entered several contests on this site and I never win, so I am asking for some help. The theme for this round is Valentine's Day. The colors look a little off in the photo. The paper is all Core'dinations cardstock. I also used several cricut cartridges- doodlecharms, wild card, storybook, zooballoo, and cuttin up. I used snow tex that I found in the Christmas section to make the icing on the cupcake. I spread it on and then let it dry for about 2 hours and then painted it with Tim Holtz crackle paint in pink to make it look like icing. I think it actually worked out like I wanted it to. So, let me know what you think. The chocolate brown squares will have photos on them and the label shape next to the cupcake is for journaling. Here is a close up of the cupcake. What do you like? What do you not like? Does it need anything? Let me know.

Looks great!!! How about a little sparkle on the cupcake or the words or spread over the layout? You could use Stickles for just a little touch.

Well....let me think...hmm....I LOVE IT! I think you've done a incredible job..There is so much that I love about it..The tree, the owl, the nesties...those are nesties..right? The paper choice is gorgeous too. I think I would add a little sparkle =with some stickles, but really I think you should feel very confident & proud!

I agree with what Heather and Sheri said! I think its great and you should be very proud....and if she doesnt pick you for her design team, she's crazy. It is just a little different from where you usually are...but I love it!
