Well, the holidays are over and now it's time to get back to the normal routine. I've made a new year's resolution to get back to crafting. I've been busy trying new things and jumping from project to project (thanks Pinterest) and I've pretty much neglected my papercrafting supplies. So, I decided to get my feet wet and make something for the Scrappy Frog Challenge which is to try something new.
So, I came up with this simple Valentine's Day card. I've been stocking up on graphics and svg files and not using them. Since this is a challenge to try something new, I decided to use on of them I had never tried. This little typewriter is from a Lettering Delights set called Programmed For Love. This set is actually a cut set, but I didn't want to mess with piecing any layers together, so I saved the files as pictures. I opened them up in Sihouette Studio and traced around them printed them out, and then had the silhouette cut them. I love doing this. It is so simple and quick.
Well, I made a card and it was painless, so I may be ready to jump back in the crafting pool and try some more. If you have a chance, head on over to Scrappy Frog's and see what the other ladies have come up with.
