How would you like to come sail away with Tilda? There is a water challenge up on the Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central (SSCC) Blog right now that is perfect for these adorable nautical images which were included in the Magnolia Summer Kit. This adorable little Sailor Tilda is actually called Tilda on a Rope Ladder. She is part of the soon to be released Bon Voyage collection.
My daughter has a tank top that I love- it is navy blue with hot pink anchors all over it. So when I think of nautical, I think of navy blue and hot pink. I took this paper from the Basic Grey June Bug collection and colored all the white polka dots pink with my copic. Yes, this took forever. It didn't take long until I regretted that decision. I paired the navy paper with some pink from the Basic Grey Green and Heart collection. I colored Tilda with my copics in shades of navy and pink to match the papers. On the side of the card I have added a pearl swirl (say that a few times quickly) I made with my new Irock and a template. This little tool is a lot of fun!!!! I finished the card off with some lace, a flower, and a few crystal stars (they started off clear and I colored them with my blue copic).

So cute!!! Great job! :)
Sometimes less is more and this is very cute. The new nautical Maggies are incredible. There's so much you can do with them.
Adorable card.

Mindy! I adore this card, the colors and the layout and the bling. Perfection!
Hi Mindy, oh what a sweet card done in the bright pink and navy! Love the polka dots...too cute...great job...hugs...Barb
What fun! I laughed when I read what you did with coloring in the dots. I did that once on fabric, when I made a doll dress for a friend, and I colored in all the ivory dots, orange to match the colors in the fabric for the collar and cuffs! We can get carried away, yes? I love this card.
Oh, do I ever love your card!!!! Just so cute and great choice of colors. I, too also love to use pink and blue for nautical. My girls had a pink and blue outfit (passed down from my oldest to her two sissy's) that I have kept in hopes that one of my future grandchildren might use:). Again great job...
fabbo job! Such a cute card! well done with those polka dots!!
Hugs Leonie
I would not have thought of that combination but I totally love it. Thanks so much for sharing.
Great card. Love the pink and navy for a sailor card.
I just love this card! I once did something like you did with the polka dots, but on fabric. Took forever but I was happy with the result, as I am sure you are too. Great card. Thanks for sharing.
Cute cute cute, Mindy. You have colored her so beautifully! And what a cutie she is! Hugs, Cami
