Stamping Scrapping New Stamp Set Sneak Peek

Well, it's my turn to post my sneak peek project. I made this card using the snowman image. I actually decided to turn it into a snow woman complete with pink scarf, cap, mittens, and purse.

All of the snow woman's accessories are included in the stamp set along with accessories to make a snow man. I used Kaiser Craft pearls for her coal eyes, the button on her purse, and the knot of her scarf. I cut the sentiment out with my nestabilities and added it to the snowflake circle which was embossed on my Cuttlebug using the Core'dinations white wash paper. I finished the card off with some rhinestone snowflakes for a little extra bling!

Scrappy Frog Fairy Challenge

The current challenge on Scrappy Frogs Challenge blog is to create a project using fairies. I don't have many fairy stamps, so I dug around and remembered this tooth fairy set I have from Close to My Heart. Be sure to hop on over and check out all the great fairy creations. The prize is a set of Studio G fairy stamps.
The paper is from Basic Grey two scoops collection. I colored the tooth fairy with copics (of course) and added accents of spica pens to bling her up a little. The flowers are from Petaloo and the bubble in the center and the pearls on the bottom are from Kaiser Craft. Cindy at stampingscrapping has a huge selection of the petaloo flowers and all the little pearl and rhinestones from Kaiser Craft.

Something Different

This post is a little something different, because it is not a Tilda card. Shocking isn't it? My daughter had first communion the first weekend of May. Above is her picture in her adorable little dress and pearls. Below is the card I made for her. I was making a clear card for a card

exchange, so I had a piece of transparency already cut, so I decided to use it for her card. I layered some different patterned papers and stamped some flourishes on it with staz on ink. I cut the dress from one of the cricut Disney princess cartridges and cut the arms off to make it look more like her dress. For detail, I added some little Kaiser Craft pearls to the waistline and topped the card with some petaloo daisies. I think it turned out very elegant and sweet just like Ainsleigh looked in her dress.
