Scrappy Frogs Mini Mailbox Challenge.

I love making these mini mailboxes for Valentine's gifts. I usually make them for my daughter's teachers and fill them with candy. So, we decided to have a mini mailbox challenge on Scrappy Frogs to see how everyone else decorates their mailboxes. I made this one for my daughter, she loves Pigs.
I started with this cute little sentiment I found- hogs and kisses. I welded the letters together with my gypsy and used a pig head from Animal Kingdom as the O in hogs. I cut 2 more of the pig heads to cover the flag of the mailbox. I added googly eyes of course to give them a little more character.
One end of the mailbox has conversation hearts cut from the new valentine's mini cartridge- Lovestruck, the other end has another clever pig sentiment- Happy Valenswine's Day. I cut it out with a label nestabilitie and added some glitter hearts.

Now the other side has my favorite creation- Cupig!!!! Isn't he cute? I used the pig from My Community and added wings to him (the wings are from Lovestruck) and gave him an arrow from gypsy wanderings. I had a little bow for him too, but it was too wide to all fit on the mailbox. I am going to fill this up with some Valentine's goodies and give it to my little Piggy for Valentine's Day!

Ainsleigh's mailbox

I have finally gotten around to posting the picture of the mailbox Ainsleigh made for Valentine's Day. This was the project we worked on at our girl scout meeting. The girls had a lot of fun creating them. Here is the close up of her mailbox. We used doilies, paper, foam stickers, ribbon, you name it- they used it. They are a bunch of future crafters for sure!
