Coffee Time

In case some of you didn't know, I LOVE coffee. I love the taste, the smell, the caffeine- it's all good. I thought I would share a few of my favorite coffee themed projects in honor of a special sale going on at stampingscrapping.com. I wanted this card to resemble a coffee mug with the sleeve on it. I used core'diantions cardstock for the base and embossed it with one of the new
quickutz embossing folders. They work just like the Cuttlebug folders do. For the sleeve, I took some more core'dinations and embossed it with the distressed stripes Cuttlebug folder. I then sanded both pieces of cardstock to bring the embossing out a little more. I stamped the sentiment from the new justrite a little caffeine set, colored the mug with a copic marker, and cut it out with a label 2 nestabilitie. To finish off this coffee card, I added the coffee card scent which is on sale this week at stampingscrapping.com for only $2.75. This scent is a must for a any coffee project and goes perfectly with this just rite set. This next card also uses the just rite

caffeine set for the sentiment. This set is really cool because if you use it with the border like I did in the first card, it uses the 2 inch block, but if you take the border off and just use the center like I did above, it will fit perfectly on the 1 5/8 inch circle block you probably already have. I used lattebella for this card and colored her with copics to match the paper (Bo Bunny). The saying from just rite fit perfectly in my circle nestabilitie. When it was all assembled, I added some scent put it in a clear envelope and it was ready to go! If you love coffee as much as I do, I hope I've inspired you to try the new a little caffeine set by just rite and don't forget to grab your coffee scent my cards while it's on sale this week!

Ipodabella

Here is another bella card- Ipodabella. I finally got an ipod. I think I must be the last person on earth to have one. At least it felt that way. So here is my ipod card.

The paper is from Anna Griffin and it is awesome. It is the same pack I ued on Ainsleigh's mini mailbox. It is full of cool pink and black florals and animal prints. The bella image is colored in with copics, accented with glitter pens, and flowersoft for the trim on her jacket. The new hot pink color is perfect for that. Then I topped it off with a flower and more of the cool gems I found when cleaning up the other day.

Parisbella

Here is another bella card. This one is called Parisbella.
I cuttlebugged the background and sanded it. Paris is colored in with copics, cut out with an oval nestabilitie, and then embossed. The embossed outline is highlighted with some shimmer chalk.
I've had the gems on the side laying around since Ainsleigh turned two and had a princess party. They are perfect for cardmaking. I love all things pink and fluffy, so a little maribou on the top seemed like the perfect touch.

New Bella Card

I don't know why I waited so long to order some bella stamps. They are so cute and I can't stop playing with them. Here is a card I made last night. This stamp is called flowahbella. I colored her with copics and used flower soft on the flowers in the flower pot. I am finally getting the hang of the flower soft. This color is called summer and it has a great mixture of pinks and greens. I used the curved rectangle nestabilities to cut out the stamped image. The background is embossed with the bloom dots cuttlebug folder, sanded and then some skittles added. I also accented little parts of her dress and the flower pot with the copic spica glitter pens. Well, this picture is bigger than I thought it would be and there is no way I can fill up all this space, so that's about all I can say about this card. Look for more Bella cards to be posted soon.
